Who can take part

  • You must be currently having an acute iTTP episode (first time or a relapse).
  • Blood tests must show very low ADAMTS13 enzyme activity (less than 10% of normal).
  • Blood tests must also show antibodies that attack the ADAMTS13 enzyme.
  • You must be 12 years or older.
  • You must sign a consent form to join the study.
