Who can take part

  • You are between 16 and 19 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa or atypical anorexia within the last 2 years.
  • Your BMI (body mass index) is below 17.5.
  • You do not have any chronic medical conditions like diabetes or take medications that affect brain chemicals.
  • You do not smoke, use nicotine, or have any alcohol or drug problems.
  • You do not have any metal implants or other reasons that would make brain imaging unsafe.
