This trial tests whether having a peer supporter—someone who has personally experienced alcohol problems—can help you stay sober during your recovery. You'll be paired with a peer as you start an outpatient program after detoxification.

Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are covered by French health insurance (social security).
- You have been diagnosed with alcohol use disorder (AUD).
- You have been sober (no alcohol) for at least 5 days and no more than 21 days, and you are in a supervised detox program (either in the hospital or at home).
- You are about to start an outpatient recovery program after detoxification.
