Who can take part

  • You are 40 years old or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (not another form of parkinsonism).
  • You have not changed your Parkinson's medications in the last 4 weeks and will not change them during the study.
  • You have mild to moderate Parkinson's symptoms (able to walk and stand, but not bedridden).
  • You are able to think clearly and cooperate with tests and therapy (score of 22 or more on a mental exam).
  • You do not have metal implants in your body, a history of seizures, or had brain surgery.
