Blood and tissue study in high-risk sarcoma

Soft Tissue Sarcoma Adult

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This study collects blood and tissue samples from people with high-risk soft tissue sarcoma before their surgery. The goal is to learn how the immune system responds to pre-surgery treatments like radiation and hyperthermia (heat therapy).

NCT06835049Recruiting· Phase 2
Heating therapy before surgery for high-risk soft tissue sarcoma

This trial tests a new approach for high-risk soft tissue sarcoma of the arm, leg, or trunk. Before surgery, you would receive chemotherapy combined with local hyperthermia (a treatment that gently heats the tumor area) to see if this can improve outcomes.

Liquid biopsy for soft tissue sarcoma

This study checks if a blood test can detect DNA from soft tissue sarcomas. The goal is to see if circulating tumor DNA can help doctors monitor the disease and plan treatment.

Testing combined radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy for high-risk sarcoma

This study tests whether giving radiation, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy together can control high-risk soft tissue sarcoma that is hard to remove or may come back after surgery. It may help by attacking cancer in different ways, including boosting the immune system.

Study of tumor markers to predict chemotherapy benefit in sarcoma

This study looks at stored tumor tissue (or takes a new biopsy) to measure specific tumor markers. Researchers want to see whether these markers match how well chemotherapy works before surgery for soft-tissue sarcoma.

Better detection of tumor cells in soft tissue sarcoma

This trial tests a new blood-test technology to find and study cancer cells in people with advanced soft tissue sarcoma. It aims to improve how we track the disease and guide treatment decisions.
