- You (your child) are 9 months to 17 years old.
- You are hospitalized with confirmed STEC infection and have signs of kidney damage, anemia, and low platelets.

- You have not started dialysis in the last 48 hours or been diagnosed with STEC-HUS more than 24 hours ago.
