Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have been diagnosed with breast cancer
  • You will be receiving chemotherapy with one of these drugs: doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, docetaxel, or paclitaxel
  • You are willing to come to MD Anderson Cancer Center for brain imaging sessions
  • You do not have any pre-existing nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy) from any cause
  • You are not taking antipsychotic medications and do not have active brain disease (like metastases, dementia, or encephalopathy)
