Who can take part
- You must be 8 to 18 years old
- A genetic test confirmed you have 5q spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)
- You can sit without support for at least 10 seconds
- You can lift one or both hands to your mouth, even if you can't lift a light object (like a 200g weight) to your mouth
- You are currently taking a treatment for SMA
- You can understand and read English or French
