Chinese herbs with standard TB treatment for lung health

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You have been diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis (lung TB).
  • You have not started TB treatment yet, or have taken the standard 4-drug regimen (HRZE) for less than 1 week.
  • You have symptoms like shortness of breath, tiredness, weak pulse, plus at least one of: coughing up blood, sweating at night, poor appetite, or a red tongue with thin coating.
  • You are not currently on other Chinese herbal medicines for TB and have no drug-resistant TB.
