Who can take part

  • You work in a pediatric hospital setting (emergency, intensive care, anesthesia, surgery, or general pediatrics).
  • You have prior basic life support (BLS) training.
  • If you are the team leader, you must be a doctor (attending, fellow, or senior resident) in pediatric or adult emergency medicine, pediatric intensive care, pediatric anesthesia, or general pediatrics.
  • If you are a nurse giving medication or doing charting, you must be a nurse in pediatric emergency, intensive care, anesthesia, surgery, or general pediatrics.
  • You have not taken part in this study before, and you agree to participate.
  • You are able to do the tasks required for your role in the simulation.
