Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been newly diagnosed or doctors suspect you have thyroid cancer.
  • Your doctor has not said you need to have your whole thyroid removed.
  • Your tumor is smaller than about 4 centimeters (1.6 inches).
  • Your cancer has not spread to lymph nodes, other body parts, or outside the thyroid.
  • You can have conversations in English.
