Who can take part

  • You have a type of skin cancer called squamous cell carcinoma that is locally advanced—meaning it's grown deeply into nearby tissues but hasn't spread to distant organs.
  • You are at least 18 years old and can follow the treatment plan and return for checkups.
  • Your tumor can be measured (at least 1 cm across) and you have tissue from a previous biopsy available.
  • Your blood counts, kidney function, and liver function are within a certain range (your doctor will check this).
  • You haven't had immunotherapy or an EGFR-blocking drug before for this cancer or any other cancer.
  • You do not have an active autoimmune disease that requires strong immune-suppressing medications, and you are not a transplant recipient.
