Who can take part
- You must have AML (a type of blood cancer) or MDS (a bone marrow disorder) that has come back or not responded to treatment.
- Your cancer cells must have a certain protein called CD33 on them (your doctor can test for this).
- You must have tried other standard treatments that didn't work or stopped working.
- You should be able to do most of your daily activities (like getting out of bed and caring for yourself) and have good kidney and liver function.
- You cannot have a type of AML called acute promyelocytic leukemia, active leukemia in your brain, another active cancer that is not blood-related, or be pregnant or breastfeeding.
