Who can take part

  • You must be a male between 2 and 65 years old.
  • You need a confirmed genetic diagnosis of MECP2 Duplication Syndrome.
  • Your current medications must be stable for at least one month.
  • You should not have severe disease features like oxygen dependence or seizures before age 5.
  • You cannot have had gene therapy or cell transplantation in the past.
  • You must have no other medical conditions that would make the lumbar puncture unsafe.
