Study of a new medicine for children with KCNT1-related epilepsy

Who can take part

  • Your child must be between 2 and 12 years old.
  • Your child must have a confirmed change in the KCNT1 gene and a diagnosis of specific seizure types (migrating focal seizures or early-onset epileptic encephalopathy).
  • Your child's current seizure medications or treatments must be stable.
  • Your child must not have other gene changes known to cause epilepsy.
  • Your child must not have other serious medical conditions, like bleeding disorders, liver problems, or need a breathing tube or tracheostomy.
