Who can take part

  • You have a new diagnosis of brain metastases (cancer that spread to the brain) from another cancer.
  • You have 1 to 3 brain tumors that are small (under 2.5 cm) and have not been treated before.
  • Your treatment plan is to have a single session of high-precision radiation (SRS) to the brain.
  • You are at least 18 years old and expected to live at least 3 more months.
  • You cannot have a brain tumor in certain sensitive areas (like the brainstem) or near the optic nerve.
  • You must not have certain conditions like G6PD deficiency, kidney stones, iron overload, or be on specific medications.
