Who can take part
- You have a cancer diagnosis in the past that is not small cell lung cancer, lymphoma, or germ cell tumors
- Your brain scans show 1 to 4 brain metastases, and at least one is between 20 mm and 50 mm
- The tumors are in locations doctors think are suitable for both radiosurgery and complete surgical removal
- Your health and strength score (Karnofsky) is at least 70
- You must be well enough for brain surgery, able to do MRI scans, and able to come back for all follow-up visits
