- You have a single kidney stone that is between 10 and 20 mm in size.
- You are an adult (18 years or older).
- Your general health is rated as fit enough for surgery (ASA score I, II, or III).
- You do not have a narrowing in the ureter (the tube from kidney to bladder).
- You are not pregnant.
- You do not have multiple stones in different parts of the kidney, or a kidney that is shaped or positioned abnormally.
