Who can take part

  • You or your child must be 18 years old or younger.
  • The kidney stones must be the kind that can be removed with a small tube through the skin (PNL) and have a low to moderate complexity (Guy's score 1–2).
  • No birth defects of the kidneys, spine, or bones are allowed.
  • Your child must not have a bleeding disorder or active urinary tract infection.
  • Your child must not have a pre‑placed drainage tube in the kidney (PCN).
