  • You have a mouth sore or lesion that hasn't healed, or you have a history of a pre-cancerous mouth condition (like leukoplakia).
  • You have had cancer in your mouth, throat, nose, or esophagus.
  • You are at high risk (for example, heavy drinker or smoker) even if you don't have a visible mouth problem.
