Who can take part
- You are an adult (age 18 or older) with an abnormal mouth lesion or a condition that can become cancer (like leukoplakia, erythroplakia, lichen planus, or graft-versus-host disease).
- Your mouth condition may have biopsy/pathology findings such as dysplasia (pre-cancer changes) or squamous cell cancer, or you may have a history of resected (removed) oral cancer.
- You can understand the study and agree to sign a written informed consent form.
- You must not be allergic to proflavine or acriflavine (tell the team if you’ve had a reaction to these medicines).
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding.
