It is for people aged 18-75 with solid tumors or blood cancers who have not responded to at least two platelet growth factors.

Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 75 years old
  • Have a solid tumor or blood cancer (like lymphoma) confirmed by a biopsy
  • Have low platelets (below 30) caused by cancer treatment that did not get better after trying two different platelet-raising medicines for at least 2 weeks
  • Have a performance status score of 0, 1, or 2 (meaning you can still do daily activities with some help)
  • Not have certain other causes of low platelets, like liver disease, blood disorders, or bone marrow cancer
  • Not have had a stroke, blood clot, or serious heart problem in the last 6 months
