  • You are 18 years or older
  • You received cancer treatment (chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy) in the last 14 days
  • Your platelet count has been below 75 on two separate tests, taken more than 24 hours apart, within the last 3 days
  • You have not used similar platelet-raising drugs before
  • You do not have a history of blood cancers like leukemia or lymphoma
  • You do not have serious liver problems or a history of blood clots that require blood thinners
