Long-term safety of a new asthma medicine

Eosinophilic Asthma Patients

This trial tests a new medicine called SHR-1703 for people with eosinophilic asthma (a type of asthma with high levels of certain white blood cells). It looks at how safe the medicine is over time and if it helps control asthma attacks. You must already be using medium or high dose inhaled steroids plus another asthma medicine, and have had at least one asthma attack in the past year.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You weigh at least 40 kilograms (about 88 pounds)
  • You have had asthma for at least 1 year and use medium or high dose inhaled steroids plus another asthma controller medicine daily
  • You have had at least 1 asthma attack in the past year that needed extra treatment
  • Your blood test shows a certain type of white blood cell (eosinophils) at a level of 0.15 or higher
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study and for 14 months after the last dose
