Who can take part
- You were seen at one of six participating nephrology (kidney) centers between 2016 and 2024.
- Your APOL1 gene risk status has been checked.
- At the time of kidney diagnosis, your urine protein-to-creatinine ratio was greater than 3 (a sign of high protein leak).
- Your blood albumin level was below 30 g/L (low protein in blood) at diagnosis.
- A kidney biopsy showed either minimal change disease or a condition called focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS).
