Who can take part
- You have stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has not been treated with chemotherapy or other cancer pills/infusions for advanced disease.
- You are generally up and about (able to do light work) and weigh more than 77 pounds (35 kg).
- Your tumor does not have an EGFR mutation or other driver mutations that have approved targeted therapies.
- You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan and that hasn't been treated with radiation.
- If you have brain metastases, they must be stable (not getting worse) and you cannot have needed steroids for them in the last 2 weeks.
