Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old and have been newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
- Your average blood sugar (A1C) is between 7.0% and 10.0%.
- You have been on the same dose of diabetes medication (with or without omarigliptin) for at least 4 weeks.
- You do not plan to start insulin for your diabetes.
- You have not lost 5 kg or more in a single month during the past 6 months.
- You do not have severe liver, kidney, heart, or blood problems, and you are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
