This trial tests three drugs (tagraxofusp, venetoclax, and azacitidine) together in adults with untreated acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has a protein called CD123 on the cancer cells. It is for people who cannot have standard strong chemotherapy because of age or other health problems. The goal is to see if this combination can help control the leukemia.

Who can take part

  • You have acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has not been treated yet.
  • Your AML cells have the CD123 protein (any level is fine).
  • You cannot have standard strong chemotherapy because you are 75 or older, or you are 18 to 74 and have other health issues like heart, lung, kidney, or liver problems.
  • Your performance status (how well you can do daily activities) is 0 to 2 if you are 75 or older, or 0 to 3 if you are 18 to 74.
  • You have not received any prior treatment for your AML, including certain drugs or a stem cell transplant.
  • Your leukemia has not spread to the brain or spinal cord.
