Who can take part

  • You must have a new diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has not been treated yet.
  • Your leukemia cells must have a specific protein called CD123 on their surface (tested by a central lab).
  • You must have had a prior bone marrow condition (MDS, CMML, or MPN) and received at least 2 cycles of a type of drug called a hypomethylating agent (like azacitidine or decitabine).
  • Your white blood cell count must be below 30 x 10⁹/L before starting study treatment (can be lowered with other medicines first).
  • You must be 18 years or older, have good organ function (including a heart pumping test of at least 45%), and be able to care for yourself (ECOG performance status 0-2).
  • You cannot have had tagraxofusp before, or have a different type of leukemia (like acute promyelocytic leukemia), or have active infections or serious heart conditions.
