Fatty Liver and Heart Attack Risk Study

This study is looking at how common a certain type of fatty liver disease is in people who have had a heart attack or unstable angina. If you've recently had a heart event and a coronary angiogram, the study will check your liver health to see if there is a link.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have had a recent heart attack or unstable angina (a heart-related chest pain) and have undergone a special heart X-ray test (coronary angiography)
  • You do not have a history of alcohol or drug abuse
  • You do not have hepatitis B or C
  • You do not have any form of liver cancer
  • You are not pregnant
