Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have had a sudden drop in kidney function (for example, a large rise in creatinine or low urine output for more than 6 hours)
- You are having symptoms of a heart attack, such as chest pain or ECG changes
- You do not have diabetes
- You do not have pre-existing kidney disease or a history of kidney removal, transplant, or dialysis
