Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- You are scheduled for a colonoscopy for screening, surveillance, diagnosis, or treatment.
- During the procedure, a flat type of polyp (sessile serrated lesion, hyperplastic, or conventional adenoma) that is at least 10 mm (about the size of a pencil eraser) is found.
- You do not have inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease).
- You do not have a hereditary polyp syndrome (like Familial Adenomatous Polyposis, Cowden's syndrome, or similar).
