Who can take part
- You must have a confirmed diagnosis of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (a type of liver cancer starting in the bile ducts inside the liver).
- You must be able to have either surgery to remove the cancer or a procedure called microwave ablation (which uses heat to destroy the tumor).
- Your tumor(s) must fit within Milan criteria: either a single tumor 5 cm or smaller, or up to 3 tumors each 3 cm or smaller, with no spread to major blood vessels, bile ducts, or other organs.
- You must be 18 years old or older.
