Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with adult acute myeloid leukemia (AML) but not the promyelocytic subtype.
  • Your white blood cell count is 25,000 or less (25×10⁹/L).
  • You have not received any leukemia treatment in the past 6 months.
  • You are not allergic to any of the drugs used in this study.
  • You do not have a mental illness or cognitive impairment that could interfere with the study.
  • You do not have an active infection, severe heart/liver/kidney problems, or another type of cancer.
