Who can take part

  • Your baby is a newborn (born before or at full term) and is on a breathing machine (ventilator).
  • Your baby is being cared for at the Medical University of Graz's newborn intensive care unit.
  • You have signed a consent form allowing your baby to be in the study before the breathing tube is removed.
