Who can take part
- Your baby was born between 34 weeks and 0 days and 36 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy.
- Your baby is breathing room air or needs only a small amount of extra oxygen (1 liter per minute or less through a nasal cannula).
- Your baby is admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) or the well baby nursery (WBN).
- Your baby does not have a major genetic condition or syndrome.
- Your baby does not have a heart or lung structural problem.
- Your baby did not have a low cord blood pH (less than 7.0) or a low APGAR score (5 or less at 5 minutes).
- Your baby did not have a suspected fetal hemorrhage or significant anemia at birth.
