Who can take part

  • Your baby is born between 28 weeks and full term (37 weeks or more).
  • Your baby is in the NICU and needs help breathing (with a machine or a mask).
  • You give written permission for your baby to take part in the study.
  • Your baby does not have a heart or lung problem like a heart defect, fluid around the lung, or a collapsed lung.
