Who can take part

  • You had a stroke (hemorrhagic or ischemic) within the last 4 weeks, or a spinal cord injury within the last 6 months, and you need intensive rehabilitation.
  • You do not have severe hearing loss that would prevent you from listening to music.
  • You do not have a pre-existing neurological condition like dementia that significantly affects your daily life.
  • You are not currently using drugs or experiencing an acute psychiatric condition.
  • You can understand the trial information and give your consent to participate.
  • If you have a spinal cord injury, you must not also have a new traumatic brain injury or stroke.
