Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You have advanced melanoma that your doctor plans to remove with surgery.
- The tumor to be treated must be at least 1 centimeter wide and visible on an ultrasound.
- You are currently receiving immunotherapy (a checkpoint blocker) for your melanoma.
- The tumor cannot be in your brain or too close to sensitive areas like bones or major blood vessels.
