Who can take part
- You have a type of brain tumor called glioblastoma (or gliosarcoma) that is newly diagnosed, has not spread to other parts of the body, and has a protein called EGFR.
- The tumor is in part of the brain that is safe to treat with the ultrasound device, and at least 30 mm away from the skull.
- After your surgery, the remaining tumor seen on MRI is 2 cm³ or less.
- You are between 18 and 70 years old.
- Your overall health (Karnofsky score) is 70 or higher, meaning you can take care of yourself.
- You must be able to talk with the ultrasound team during the procedure.
