Who can take part
- You are between 8 and 18 years old.
- You have juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), but not the less common types like systemic JIA, enthesitis-related arthritis, or RF-positive polyarthritis.
- Your arthritis medications have been the same for at least 8 weeks and are expected to stay the same for the next 12 weeks.
- You are willing to give stool samples for testing.
- You can speak English or French well enough to answer questionnaires and follow diet instructions.
- You do not have any food allergies, celiac disease, or other conditions (like type 1 diabetes or stomach ulcers) that could make the study diet hard to tolerate.
