Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • Your thyroid cancer is a type called differentiated thyroid cancer (like papillary or follicular) and has a BRAF V600E mutation
  • You have already tried radioactive iodine treatment, or you can't have it
  • You have tried a targeted therapy drug (like lenvatinib or sorafenib) and your cancer grew or didn't respond
  • You have not had cabozantinib or a BRAF-targeted drug before for your thyroid cancer
  • You are healthy enough to perform daily activities (ECOG score 0-2) and do not have serious heart or bleeding problems
