Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 45 years old and in good general health.
  • You cannot have any chronic health problems (like heart, lung, or liver disease) or a weakened immune system.
  • You must not be pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study.
  • You cannot have had a hookworm infection before or been treated for it.
  • You must be willing to have a skin infection with hookworm larvae and attend all study visits.
