Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old and have liver cancer that has been confirmed by a biopsy or other lab test.
- Your liver function should be good (Child-Pugh score A or B) and you should be able to care for yourself (ECOG score less than 2).
- Your blood counts must be within certain limits – for example, your platelet count should be at least 50,000 and your hemoglobin at least 9 g/dL.
- You cannot have fluid in your belly (ascites), confusion from liver disease, or bleeding in your stomach or throat veins.

- You must be willing to use birth control during the study (if applicable).
