Silver agents for early cavities in children's baby teeth
Treatments studied
Part of Mouth & dental clinical trials.

This study tests whether a special remineralizing agent can help reverse early white spots (soft spots) on adult teeth before they become cavities. It's for people who have a few small spots but keep their teeth clean.
This study tests whether a new coating (PRG Barrier Coat) can heal white spot lesions on permanent front teeth in children, compared to a standard fluoride varnish. The study wants to see if this treatment can help stop early decay and improve the appearance of teeth.
This trial tests a special varnish and cleaning paste that may help reverse white spots (early cavities) on front teeth. Researchers want to see if the varnish keeps the teeth looking better compared to standard treatments.
This study tests whether applying a silver fluoride solution once or twice can stop tooth decay in children aged 4 to 6. It may help keep cavities from getting worse without needing fillings.
This trial is testing whether a toothpaste made with bioactive silica and calcium can help reverse early white spot lesions (non-cavitated cavities) on teeth. If you have white spots on the front or back surfaces of your teeth that are not yet cavities, this study may be for you.
This trial tests two types of silver liquid (one standard, one with very tiny particles) to see which works better at stopping cavities in baby teeth of young children who are nervous about dental treatment. If your child has cavities in their back baby teeth and is too scared for usual dental work, this may be an option.
