Who can take part

  • You had your first stroke on the left side of your brain, and it caused trouble speaking (aphasia).
  • You are between 25 and 75 years old and at least one month has passed since your stroke.
  • You are right-handed and have completed at least elementary school.
  • You understand basic instructions and can pay attention during sessions lasting 30 to 60 minutes.
  • You do not have severe anxiety, depression, sleep problems, or other major health issues.
  • You can have an MRI scan (no metal implants or pacemaker).
