Who can take part

  • You are between 35 and 65 years old.
  • You have prediabetes (blood sugar 140–199 mg/dL 2 hours after a meal).
  • You are not currently taking medications that affect blood sugar, such as steroids or certain antidepressants.
  • You do not have diabetes, severe high blood pressure, or recent heart attack or stroke.
  • You are not pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
