  • Your BMI is under 25
  • Your blood sugar and insulin results suggest normal insulin sensitivity
  • You’re between 18 and 79 years old
  • Your blood pressure is below 140/90
  • Your weight has been stable for the last 3 months (within about 5 pounds)
  • You can stop vitamin C, vitamin E, and omega-3 supplements starting 2 weeks before the study
