  • You have a clinical need for a colonoscopy
  • You are not pregnant
  • You are not immunocompromised
  • You have no previous colorectal disease
  • You have not had radiation to your pelvis
  • You have not taken long-term antibiotics in the past 6 months
  • You are not continuously using proton pump inhibitors (acid reflux drugs)
