Who can take part
- You have moderate to severe knee arthritis (grade 2–4) and have been referred for a total knee replacement at Kristiansund Hospital.
- You do not have serious psychiatric disorders, dementia, or drug abuse issues.
- You are not currently receiving cancer therapy and your health (ASA class) is not too high for surgery (ASA 3 or lower).
- You don't need a walking aid like a cane or walker.
- Your knee isn't too crooked (less than 15 degrees bow-legged or 5 degrees knock-kneed) on X-ray.
